Isle of Man TT legend Keith Amor has been forced to retire from racing because of a shoulder injury suffered when he fell at last years TT and then damaged the shoulder further with a crash in the Ulster Grand Prix.
Speaking on Twitter the man from Falkirk said: “Unfortunately after visiting my surgeon yesterday my worst fears came true, I need more surgery so I have decided to retire from racing.”
Amor began his career in 2001 and had undergone surgery on the injury in the hope he could return to racing, sadly this hasn’t been the case.
