Moto Morini receiver Piero Aicardi has said the company will be put up for sale by auction which will be held on April 13th 2011 at 13:30.
It’s a ‘job lot’ sale from the sounds of things as the purchaser will get building, drawings, blueprints, equipment etc for the price of 5.5 million Euros.
If that’s too much then the price will drop to 2.6 million Euros for just the company and not the buildings, machinery etc.
“Will then be offered for sale in addition to industrial building owned by Moto Morini SpA procedure described above, all components of the whole corporate assets, particularly brands and Morini Moto Morini Franco Motori, drawings, blueprints, know-how The clientele, goodwill and other intangible assets in general, the plants, equipment, machinery, furniture and office equipment, cars and vehicles and assets in general; inventories, including: components, engines, parts, accessories, clothing, packaging and components in general, existing at the date of sale and with the express exclusion of stocks of finished bikes, both new and used, as known, have all been sold during the year provisional.
“The base price includes the auction for the lot of property is € 5,500,000.00. In the event that is not received valid tenders for the whole company including the property, bids will be accepted for the lot consists of the only private company of the apartment complex, in which case the base bid price was set at € 2,600 .000,00 and this price includes two years of right of use of the property on loan.”
