Husqvarna 900
Husqvarna announced recently that they would be making a 900cc motorcycle using a BMW engine, we then had the ever reliable Oberdan Bezzi show what he thought it should look like.
Well now we have the first official word from Husqvarna themselves with these sketches and first design. Below is what Husqvarna say themselves:
With this new model, Husqvarna is consolidating its philosophy of style: a balanced combination of visual emotion and riding experience. The strong body shapes are a consistent evolution of the new style and design direction introduced by the Varese company, and are testimony of Husqvarna’s innovation.
The structure of the bike is brand new, beyond anything available on the market. The characteristic shape of the side panels and the vibrant surfaces define an athletic body. Dynamism, agility and lightness are balanced harmoniously. The functional air intakes integrated into the front of the body and the thin tail, highlight the unique design of this new model. The visible technical components express sportiness, performance and, above all, fun.
Balance, consistency, exclusivity, innovation, dynamics, lightness and functionality – these are the distinguishing design features of this new bike.
