LiFeBATT
This team is the first in the world to come with factory support from a major international battery manufacturer; LiFeTECH Energy Inc, who are based in Taiwan. The team are a very exciting addition to the grid.
Race team boss Ian Goodman comments “LiFeBATT had traditionally sponsored a number of university teams in electric racing, we felt this year was a good point to enter our own challenger onto the grid. The TTXGP UK championship is an exciting opportunity to showcase cutting edge technology and provide exciting racing to fans. The bike has a few unique features that we feel give us the edge, and we are confident of delivering an exciting race on the track. We want to be in pole position on the grid at the TTXGP FINAL in Albacete and that is what we are amining for. We are really excited about entering this race series and are looking forward to the season.”
One feature of the LiFeBATT LiFeTECH entry is its CAN Bus Battery management system; the first team to employ one so far. More details will follow soon, for now we can say the team will be supported by Kingston university and is likely to become one to watch…
