Honda India has unveiled  a motorcycle aimed squarely at the  younger generation or those who like their fuel economy to be second to none.

The 110cc CB Twister has its looks based on the CBR100RR but is low maintenance and has a fuel economy of 197mpg! (164 US). Coupled with a price tag of just US$900, you can see why they expect to sell 220,000 of them.

The CB Twister is fitted with a low-friction, high mileage, air-cooled 4 stroke single cylinder 110cc engine which is designed to comply with the latest Indian emissions standard BS-III which comes into effect in April 2010.

The CB Twister is produced by Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd and not from Hero Honda which is Honda’s local JV company and who own the majority of the Indian motorcycle market.

You can see the CB Twister at the Auto Expo 2010 on January 5th in New Delhi before it goes on sale in February 2010.
