Walter Roehrich has posted some sneak shots of his forthcoming eRoehr series of electric motorcycles on the ElMoto forums.

Walter Roehrich “Hello folks, I thought I would bring you guy’s up to speed on progress of our eRoehr series of electric motorcycles. The mechanical portion of the bikes are completed, we are in the testing and development process right now, both on the dyno and the street. We were planning to be a little further along by now, and were hoping to enter the TTXGP series, however a few delays, mainly with bodywork tooling have set us behind schedule a bit.

As much as we would have loved to compete at Infineon next week, our main priority is to finish our development, and deliver a refined quality product with confidence.

We are on track to launch, and start deliveries of our eRoehr series of bikes this summer.

I would also like to let you know that we are proud to announce our affiliation with two new California dealers. Hollywood Electric in Los Angeles and Ethical Approach in San Jose. We are very happy to have added these two quality dealers to our team.

We will be issuing a formal press release as soon as the production bodywork is completed. We are also arranging for some magazine road tests to provide you with some 3rd party feedback and impressions.

Although pricing has not been formally announced, we will be offering 3 versions of the eRoehr. Our entry level eSuperSport at $16,965 MSRP, the eSuperbike at $27,595 MSRP and the racing version, the eSuperBikeRR at $34,495 MSRP.
